OUR STORY

Hello and welcome! We are Stevie and John, native Texans who once lived a busy life in Arlington, but we longed for something slower, more connected to the land. When one of our sons bought our home, the decision was made—time for a new adventure. We found a beautiful twelve-acre farm in Cleburne, once a peanut farm, nestled among horse and cattle ranches. With no grand plan but plenty of enthusiasm, we decided to grow cut flowers. My husband was skeptical, but we bought seeds, read every book we could find, and got to work. Gardening in Texas means learning to adapt—one day it's 80 degrees, the next it's freezing. Mother Nature keeps us on our toes, but our first season proved we were onto something. Our flowers flourished, word spread, and soon we had a growing customer base.
Life on the farm has been full of surprises, including three stray horses who wandered in one morning and never left. No one claimed them, so we did—learning about hay, feed, and schedules as we went.
Beyond growing flowers and caring for animals, we believe in lifting others up however we can. Helping and serving is at the core of who we are, and as our farm grows, we hope to use it as a way to give back—whether through fundraisers, community support, or simply sharing what we have. It’s been a wild, wonderful journey, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
